The Galleria Nazionale in Cortona, located in the very historic centre of the ancient Etruscan town, is run by the Cosignani family.
Bruno Cosignani has established a name for himself in the world of art as early as in 1973 when he started his first art gallery in the Versilia, the Galleria Internazionale of Viareggio (LU), located in the central Via Leonardo da Vinci.
Cosignani soon expanded his business to start the gallery “Il Mercadante” of Levanto, just round the corner from the Cinque Terre.
A promoter of the great Tuscan masters, the world famous post-Macchiaioli, Bruno Cosignani started in 2003, in the ancient Etruscan town of Cortona, the Galleria Nazionale; the gallery is housed within the Palazzo Alticozzi and is run by sons Gianmaria and Gianluca.
The Cortona gallery hosts emerging painters and sculptors as well as nationally and internationally established artists. |
